3 Ways Custom Closets Increase Space

For example, adding closet shelves allows you to store things like holiday decorations, hats, and shoes that you rarely wear without crowding and smooshing them all together.

For clients with high ceilings, a wardrobe lift lets you store off-season clothing on a rod that you can push up toward the ceiling. These items won’t be in your way, but will be available for your use within seconds.

In addition, wall-mounted closet cabinets, available in a variety of finishes, can provide dust-free storage space for purses, sweaters, or anything else you want to keep in them.

If you have a walk in closet, a clothing rod holding your separates is probably what you’ll see at eye level. If your clothes are smashed together, putting in a second rod about three feet below the first can literally double your hanging space.
