We’re in for what might be a snowed-in weekend, and many of us have stocked up on milk, batteries and the other items that we’ll need while hunkering down for a few days. If you’re going to be snowed in this weekend, here are a few quick organizational projects that you might want to get out of the way:
Chances are that you have a lot of leftover chips, dips and other assorted snack foods to enjoy from last weekend! Why not take everything out, wipe down the
pantry shelves, sweep the floors and put it all back away nice and neatly?
There never seems to be a good time to deal with the mess that might reside in your children’s bedrooms,
particularly their closets. If necessary, bribe them with the promise of snowman-building and hot chocolate once the deed is done, but get in there and throw out old papers, hang everything up and dust the top shelf.
You might not be able to make over the whole
home office, but even getting those piles under control will help. Wielding a feather duster, a can of furniture spray and a vacuum cleaner will get it all nice and clean, too.
If you have trouble keeping these and other areas of your home under control, we can help. Far from providing only walk-in custom closets, we also specialize in pantries, home offices and kids’ closets. Give us a call for a consultation to find out more. Stay safe this weekend!
